We collect personal information only when it is necessary to provide the service. The information we collect comes directly from you when you initiate contact with a trades business that uses Yitro's system.
We do not collect payment information, government identification, health information, or any sensitive personal data. We collect only what is required to connect you with the trades business you called.
You provide consent to receive an SMS response by calling a phone number operated by a Yitro client. By placing that call, you are initiating contact with the business, and the business's use of Yitro to respond via SMS is disclosed at the point of contact through signage, the business's website, or other pre-call notice.
Our SMS responses identify the business you called and explain that you are communicating with an automated system. You may opt out of further messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. For assistance, reply HELP.
SMS Consent Statement
By calling a phone number managed by Yitro on behalf of a trades business, you consent to receive SMS messages from that business in response to your missed call. Message frequency varies based on your conversation. Standard message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance. Mobile opt-in data and SMS consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
We use personal information for the sole purpose of delivering the service you initiated contact for. Specifically:
We do not use your personal information for marketing, advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond completing the service you requested when you placed your call.
We share personal information only with the trades business you called and with service providers that help us operate the Yitro platform. All service providers are authorized to use personal information only as required to provide services to us, and not for their own purposes.
We may update the specific service providers we use from time to time. If our data practices materially change, we will update this Privacy Policy. The categories of providers listed above will remain accurate.
We do not sell, rent, transfer, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. Ever.
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected. Appointment records and conversation logs are retained to allow the trades business to reference confirmed bookings and service history.
If you would like your information removed, contact us at raza@yitro.ca and we will action your request within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain certain records.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or loss. Our service providers are evaluated for their security practices and are contractually bound to protect data on our behalf.
